Halifax Share Dealing Limited Appointed to Manage and Administer your Itshenderson Account
As part of ongoing work to provide a better quality of service for our customers the administration and management of your Itshenderson account will be transferring to Halifax Share Dealing Limited (HSDL) over the weekend of 31 January and 1 February with the new service being effective from Monday 2 February 2009.
Although the administration and management of your account will transfer formally from Itshenderson to HSDL, you will still enjoy the benefit of being associated with Henderson Global Investors in that you will continue to receive copies of annual report and accounts of the Henderson managed investment trusts and investment companies, be able to attend and vote at general meetings and receive our biannual newsletter and other mailings.
Restriction on Dealing
In order to transfer your Itshenderson account to HSDL smoothly we need to prohibit dealing on all accounts in the few days leading up to the transfer. Consequently, you will not be able to place deals on your account between Tuesday 27 January 2009 and Friday 30 January 2009 inclusive. Monday 26 January 2009 will be the last day of dealings through Itshenderson and Monday 2 February 2009 will be the first day of dealing with HSDL. Any postal deals received during this period will be passed to HSDL for action on the next dealing day following Monday 2 February 2009. All outstanding limit or stop orders will expire on Monday 26 January 2009 and you will need to renew these with HSDL from Monday 2 February 2009. Any interest earned on cash balances will be calculated according to HSDL’s policy from Saturday 31 January 2009.
What you can expect from Halifax Share Dealing Limited
HSDL will contact all existing clients to obtain further information. This additional information is required to ensure HSDL can provide their full service offering. Following this, a welcome pack from HSDL will be sent to all existing clients in January. The pack will include a Personal Reference Number (PRN) and Account Number. A pin number will be sent shortly after the welcome pack and once you have received this you will be in a position to trade immediately following the transfer.
If for any reason you are unwilling to transfer your holdings to HSDL then you do retain the right to transfer your assets to another company or to receive the shares or proceeds yourself. The Itshenderson website at www.itshenderson.com is being revamped and will be relaunched to provide you with all the information you need about the Henderson managed investment trusts and investment companies. The new website will go live on Friday 30 January 2009.
